Another from the archive collaboration with actor Oliver Senton and percussionist Thierry Besson. This was one our first settings of short stories to music. This from Edgar Allen Poe's - The Tell-Tale Heart.

When I was first introduced to Oliver as a potential collaborator by a friend who has sadly since dies I suggested we go together to Abney Cemetery in Stoke Newington after he suggested working in the Tell Tale Heart. More on a whim because I was fascinated with the overgrown cemetery and the ruined chapel at its centre. I though it would make a great place fro a performance. We went to a cafe or pub (can't remember which or why) next to the cemetry and chatted with the owner who talked about a festival they had of performance and that Edgar Allen Poe went to a school in Stoke Newington on which the Fall of The House of Usher was based. What a strange serendipity ?
