The Storm 1406

about

More experiments with live cello looping. Though the effect here is asynchronous the loop layers are multiples of an 1/8th note set up with a series of interlocking loops that you can only hear ghosts of at the beginning of the track. This becomes a template for a network of very long delays. The piece is chaotic, atonal & unpredictable. If you know my album from 2019 'Borderland' there is a track this is reminiscent of - Awakening. I've always wondered how to recreate this live and maybe this is a possible direction
